Stanislaus county has been getting applicants approved between 6 weeks to 8 months. Certificate of completion is valid for 6 months with Stanislaus S.O.
What to expect

We do more than just the qualifications of Stanislaus County, additional shooting we do is skill building.
Required Equipment
- As of January 1st, 2019. You must qualify with all guns going on permit. Bring 50 rounds per gun. Bring a total of 100 additional rounds for the one gun you are going to train with for most of day. This gun should be the one you plan to carry the most.
- Stiff holsters only. No exceptions for safety. Good quality holster may save your life.
- Don't risk it with cheap quality!! There are many good holsters $35 and up.
- Plastic/Kydex, hybrid holsters, hard leather only. You must be able to draw and reholster gun without having to help reopen with support hand.
- Nylon or soft leather will not be allowed. Please don't get upset when we say no, too many safety issues in the past has lead us to enforce this.
- Magazine holster is recommended.
- 3 magazines if possible
- Revolvers must have 3 speed loaders.
- Hearing (preferably electronic) and Eye protection. We have electronic hearing for sale on our website, or in classroom, which can be picked up on day of class.

Notes
- We are not responsible for the weather, if bays are slippery and/or flooded or other acts of God, a new date will be scheduled.
- We are not responsible for those who wait until the 6 month deadline to complete the class.
- No special accomodation will be made for those who cannot meet with the rest of the class.
- You can choose to join the next scheduled class if the rescheduled class does not work for you.
